Description
These chlorin e6 (Ce6) conjugated sodium yttrium fluoride ytterbium thulium at sodium yttrium fluoride ytterbium neodymium (NaYF4,Yb,Tm@NaYF4,Yb,Nd) core-shell upconversion nanoparticles (core-shell UCNPs) are multi-component systems optimized for near-infrared light conversion. The composition includes a thulium-doped core for high-energy emission and a neodymium-doped shell for 808 nm absorption. The structure facilitates the conjugation of ce6 molecules to harness the upconverted energy for secondary reactions.
