Assay Principle
Chicken lipopolysaccharide (LPS) ELISA kit is designed to measure the level of chicken LPS in a sample. It utilizes purified chicken LPS antibody to coat the microtiter plate wells, creating a solid-phase antibody. LPS is then added to the wells, allowing the LPS molecules to bind to the antibodies. The antibodies are labeled with HRP, resulting in the formation of an antibody-antigen-enzyme-antibody complex. After thorough washing, a TMB substrate solution is added, causing the TMB substrate to turn blue in color due to the catalysis of the HRP enzyme. The reaction is halted by adding a sulphuric acid solution, and the resulting color change is assessed using a spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 450 nm. By comparing the optical density (O.D.) of the samples to a standard curve, the concentration of Chicken LPS in the samples can be determined accurately.
