Description
These dextran modified beta-phase sodium yttrium fluoride:ytterbium,thulium (β-NaYF4:Yb,Tm) upconverting nanoparticles feature a blue-emitting hexagonal fluoride core and a polysaccharide surface. The dextran modification enhances the biocompatibility and dispersibility of the particles in aqueous research environments. These particles exhibit characteristic blue and ultraviolet peaks under 980 nm near-infrared laser excitation.
