Description
These hematoporphyrin monomethyl ether (HMME) conjugated sodium yttrium fluoride ytterbium thulium at sodium yttrium fluoride ytterbium neodymium (NaYF4,Yb,Tm@NaYF4,Yb,Nd) core-shell upconversion nanoparticles (core-shell UCNPs) consist of a thulium-activated core and a neodymium-sensitized shell. The composition incorporates hmme molecules positioned at the interface to facilitate near-infrared to ultraviolet energy conversion. The physical structure is optimized to maintain high quantum yields through suppressed surface quenching.
