Description
These indium tin oxide (ITO) nanoparticle-doped upconverting nanomaterials (UCNMs) are composite structures where ITO nanocrystals are integrated with rare-earth upconverting phosphors. The ITO component introduces electrical conductivity and infrared shielding properties to the upconverting material. This design is used to explore the synergistic effects between transparent conducting oxides and lanthanide luminescence.
