Lactate dehydrogenase, 300 U/mg is an enzyme found in biological tissues that catalyzes the conversion of NAD+ to NADH and the reverse reaction.
Unit Definition
One unit will catalyse the reduction of 1 µmole of pyruvate to L-lactate per minute at 25 °C, pH 7.0 in the presence of NADH (oxidationof 1 µmole NADH).
