Description
These lanthanum fluoride:ytterbium,erbium (LaF3:Yb3+, Er3+) upconverting nanoparticles (UCNPs) are fluoride-based emitters that use lanthanum as the host cation. The crystal structure of LaF3 provides a unique local environment that results in distinct upconversion spectra compared to NaYF4-based particles.
