Description
These 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(3-hydroxyphenyl)porphyrin (m-THPP) conjugated sodium yttrium fluoride ytterbium thulium upconversion nanoparticles (NaYF4:Yb,Tm UCNPs) are engineered with a thulium-doped lattice to provide ultraviolet and blue emissions. The composition involves the covalent attachment of m-thpp molecules to the nanoparticle surface to enable efficient energy transfer. The crystalline structure ensures high upconversion efficiency for the activation of the conjugated organic porphyrins.
