Description
These methylene blue (MB) conjugated sodium yttrium fluoride ytterbium thulium at sodium yttrium fluoride ytterbium neodymium (NaYF4,Yb,Tm@NaYF4,Yb,Nd) core-shell upconversion nanoparticles (core-shell UCNPs) utilize a thulium-activated core for ultraviolet and blue emissions. The composition includes a neodymium-sensitized shell to enable excitation at 808 nm. The structure is modified with mb to explore the energy transfer between thulium ions and the organic dye under diverse excitation wavelengths.
