Description
These molybdenum-doped (Mo6+-doped) NaYF4:Yb3+,Ho3+ upconverting nanoparticles (UCNPs) contain hexavalent molybdenum ions to modulate the luminescence intensity. The addition of Mo6+ influences the energy transfer pathway between the Yb3+ sensitizer and Ho3+ activator. This doping strategy is used to enhance specific emission bands within the visible spectrum.
