Description
These NaYF4:30%Yb,0.5%Tm@NaYF4@NaYF4:20%Yb,2%Er core-shell-shell upconverting nanoparticles (UCNPs) possess a three-layer architecture for multi-wavelength emission. The different dopant concentrations in each active layer are designed to balance the blue emission from Tm and the green/red emission from Er. An undoped NaYF4 spacer is used to minimize energy transfer interference between the two active regions.
