Description
These Sodium Yttrium Fluoride (NaYF4:Yb,Er/Tm) Upconverting Nanomaterials (UCNMs) consist of a high-quality fluoride host lattice co-doped with trivalent ytterbium, erbium, or thulium ions. The hexagonal β-phase structure is optimized to facilitate efficient energy transfer from the Yb3+ sensitizer to the Er3+ or Tm3+ activators. This internal architecture allows for the conversion of 980 nm near-infrared light into high-energy visible green, red, or blue emissions.
