Description
These oleic acid modified NaY(Gd/Lu/Nd):Yb,Tm@NaYF4:Yb,Nd upconverting nanoparticles (UCNPs) are hydrophobic core-shell emitters designed for dispersion in non-polar organic solvents. The core is doped for blue emission, while the shell contains neodymium to enable excitation at 808 nm. The oleic acid capping provides a stable interface that prevents nanoparticle aggregation in oils or hydrocarbons.
