Description
These polyacrylic acid (PAA) modified sodium yttrium (gadolinium/lutetium/neodymium):ytterbium,erbium,neodymium@sodium yttrium fluoride:ytterbium,neodymium upconverting nanoparticles (UCNPs) are multi-component systems designed for 808 nm excitation. The PAA coating provides abundant carboxyl groups for high water solubility and further chemical conjugation. The inclusion of Nd and Gd/Lu ions allows for the modulation of both the optical excitation wavelength and the material density or magnetic properties.
