Description

These polyethylenimine (PEI) modified upconverting nanoparticles (UCNPs) are provided as a stable suspension with a concentration of 2 milligrams per milliliter in water. The PEI modification provides a high density of primary and secondary amine groups on the surface, resulting in a strong positive surface charge. the inorganic core consists of a high-purity fluoride host doped with rare-earth ions for efficient photon upconversion.
