These Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) modified water-soluble Upconverting Nanoparticles (PPS@UCNPs) are surface-encapsulated with a high-performance thermoplastic polymer. The PPS coating provides exceptional chemical resistance and thermal stability while allowing the particles to remain dispersible in aqueous solutions. This combination of the rigid polymer shell and the upconverting core is ideal for research in high-temperature or corrosive chemical environments.
