Description

These rare-earth doped NaYF₄:Yb,Er@NaYF₄ upconverting nanomaterials (UCNMs) feature a core-shell structure designed to maximize light output by insulating the active core. The NaYF₄ shell layer is epitaxially grown over the doped core to ensure a seamless and low-defect interface. This structural design significantly improves the emission lifetime and quantum yield of the erbium ions.
