Description
These rare-earth upconverting nanomaterials (UCNMs) are inorganic crystals composed of a fluoride host lattice doped with trivalent lanthanide ions. The structural design allows for the conversion of low-energy near-infrared light into high-energy visible photons via an anti-stokes process. Each particle is synthesized to maintain high crystallinity and chemical stability in various experimental environments.
