Hydroxyfasudil hydrochloride, soluble in warmed DMSO and warmed water and insoluble in ethanol, blocks the ATP-binding site of ROCK, thereby inhibiting its kinase activity. It targets PKA, ROCK1, and ROCK2.
Hydroxyfasudil hydrochloride can be used to investigate the inhibition of Rho kinase and its potential therapeutic effects.
