Description
Sheep lipopolysaccharide-binding protein (LBP) ELISA kit, an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, has the ability to detect levels of sheep LBP as low as 1 μmol/L and its detection range is 7.5-240 μmol/L.
Assay Principle
Sheep lipopolysaccharide-binding protein (LBP) ELISA kit is designed to measure the level of sheep LBP in a sample. It utilizes purified sheep LBP antibody to coat the microtiter plate wells, creating a solid-phase antibody. The sample is then added to the wells, allowing the sheep LBP to bind to the solid-phase antibody. HRP-labeled antibodies specific to sheep LBP are subsequently added, forming an antibody-antigen-enzyme-antibody complex. After thorough washing, a TMB substrate solution is added, resulting in a blue color development due to the catalytic activity of the HRP enzyme. The reaction is stopped by adding a sulfuric acid solution, and the color change is measured at a wavelength of 450 nm using a spectrophotometer. The concentration of Goat LBP in the samples is determined by comparing the absorbance (O.D.) of the samples to a standard curve.
